Know how to speed up computer

As exams were approaching closer, our teachers were getting more strict about the submission of project. Fortunately I had a good topic for the project, it was regarding the wonders of the modern world. I was very casual about the preparation of the project unless I got a deadline for the same. A notice was circulated regarding this. There was a harsh warning "Those who are not submitting it before the deadline will not be eligible to appear for the final term exam". I was as dead as door-nail, I came hurriedly to my room and started working on my Dell computer, but it was running pretty slow.



I called up a close friend, who was also a technician by profession. I discussed the entire problem and then he started laughing saying it’s a piece of cake for him. He started troubleshooting the machine. He ran the ‘chkdsk’ tool. Then restarted the computer saying it’s over. I thanked him and started working on the project again. But soon I realized that the problem is still there. Then I searched on Google regarding a fix for the problem. I came across a site on the very first page mentioning as tech support to speed up computer. I called up a technician of the tech support company. He gave me step-by-step instructions, removed temporary Internet files, checked certain programs in the start up, ran the defragmenter tool, and finally scanned the whole computer with an online scanner tool. After the diagnosing, it was found that the system was infected by viruses, spyware and other Internet threats. At the end I restarted the computer.



Thank God! Eventually things were back on track. The Internet, e-mail, Microsoft Office all were running smooth. It was late and I worked well into the night to finish my project. Next day, I opened my eyes when the clock struck 11:00 AM. After a quick bath I dressed up fast and reached my college and submitted the project.



Today, I am quite satisfied. I have cleared the exams and got good grades, but I can’t forget the exceptional support that I got from the remote support company.
